haiku Assessments is a versatile tool that provides a teacher with a quick way to build online Assessments. There are currently two types of Assessments available.

• Exercises - Learning activities that provide students with immediate feedback to the answers they submit.
• Exams -  Students recieve feedback only after the Assessment is closed to all students. Also supports Essay / Short Answer questions.

Each type of Assessment supports several types of Questions. Most question types can be automatically graded when the student submits their answer. Of course the teacher has complete control and can override the final grade for any question. Supported question types include:

• Fill-in-the-blank
• Matching
• Multiple Choice
• True/False
• Essay/Short Answer (for Exams only)

When taking assessments, students can easily navigate between questions and can even flag questions that they wish to look over again before submitting the test.

haiku Assessments make it possible for a teacher to quickly create, edit and post a review or quiz for their students. Grading is fully integrated with the gradebook, making response a snap too.
