About LTHO
In keeping with a tradition of excellence, the LT Middle School Orchestra Directors are proud to offer the Lawrence Township Honors Orchestra. This orchestra is offered to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students attending Belzer, Craig, and Fall Creek Valley Middle Schools. The LTHO is an advanced, non-credit orchestra for students who are looking to be challenged. Currently this orchestra meets every Monday for one month each semester and then has one concert each semester.
Mission
To enrich the musical lives of our students by providing advanced performing and learning opportunities throughout the Indianapolis Community.
Commitment & Audition
Since the LTHO is an Honors Orchestra, we are looking for students with a serious commitment! There will be no grades, no practice cards, no playing quizzes. Students will be responsible for learning their parts AT HOME and being on time to REHEARSE at rehearsals. Students interested in auditioning should submit an audio or video tape of themselves performing a song of their choice. It is important the students choose a song that they are comfortable with.
