Working Together; Building Community!
We're Working Together to Build a Community of Learners!
Third grade is such an exciting time in the life of our children! Students of this age are naturally curious, eager to work with others, and are increasingly capable of solving problems without adult intervention. Words like respect and responsibility become understood by students and are exhibited by most on a daily basis. As the children learn to cooperate, use good manners, and work to the best of their ability, they create a classroom where learning occurs each day!
Spelling Words
Our final test will take place May 9th.

Classroom News
- Math- Several students have demonstrated mastery of their multiplication facts. Last Friday, those students enjoyed an ice cream sundae party in celebration of their hard work.
- Reading-Students have recently finished reading non-fiction texts about animals in their guided reading groups. Everyone was excited to learn more about wolves, endangered animals, ants, and mosquitoes.
- Writing-Students have been learning to add details to their writing by using thoughts, actions, and dialog. We are also revisiting the importance of rereading written work to check for clarity and accuracy.
