Miss Smelser's Class

Students worked to clean up the courtyard outside our classroom and planted more flowers. This is an ongoing yearly project with each new first grade class.

Here are some pictures from when we experimented with oobleck from the Dr. Seuss book, Bartholomew and the Oobleck. We were learning about solids and liquids.

This is a brief look at our investigation into our school. Students are focusing on the building and the people who work here, so we have taken many "field trips" within the building to learn about Mary Castle Elementary.
